ArcelorMittal - Modernization of Mill in Ghent

We are proud to announce that together with the company Bedeschi S.p.A. we will participate in the capital project of the revitalization of ArcelorMittal Mill in Ghent (Belgium). The revitalization includes the following machinery: 1x Bucket Wheel Stacker Reclaimer and 1x Stacker.

ArcelorMittal is the second-largest steel producer in the World. They are operating in 16 countries around the world, with 45.3 million tonnes of iron ore mined and 59 million tonnes of crude steel made in 2022.  

We will participate in the project as the subcontractor for electrical engineering and automation.

Revitalization of the Hydraulic Systems 

To'palang dam and hydropower plant modernization

We are proud to announce that together with our partners PPT inženjering we’ll participate in the capital project of the revitalization of the regulation shutters on the Dam on the Tupalang reservoir in the Saryasi district of Surkhandarya region in Uzbekistan.

The modernization of the To’palang dam and hydropower plant  aimed for a substantial increase in capacity, soaring from 30 megawatts to an impressive 145 megawatts. Furthermore, it aimed to expand capacity from 380 million to 500 million cubic meters.

We will participate in the project as the contractor for electrical engineering and automation.

Shiplock Đerdap II - Reconstruction Work

We are proud to announce that after almost two years of preps & planning, we are ready for the reconstruction works on the shiplock Đerdap II.

The disassembly of the electromechanical equipment has been successfully completed. The disassembly works lasted for 60 days.

After the disassembly was completed, the next step is the installation of new electromechanical equipment for shiplock.

Stay tuned for updates as we will continue our journey toward building more efficient shiplocks.

Development of the Irrigation System Sivac Jug

PROJECT

The system being built consists of a pumping station with a water intake. The pumping station has four pumps with a total capacity of 3,600 m³/h and is connected to the intake via two DN800 inlet pipes. An independent electrical facility will house a 1,250 kVA transformer and associated low-voltage and high-voltage equipment. A new 20 kV cable connection will be established to connect the facility to the power distribution system.

To supply water to the irrigation machines, 27 km of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipelines with a diameter of Φ90 Φ630 are planned. The pipelines include three for linear irrigation and three for Centre Pivots. Twelve irrigation canals, spanning a total length of 12.85 km, will receive water from the pumping station through low-pressure pipelines, with each canal equipped with concrete settling structures.

The irrigation equipment includes 20 devices for rotational movement (Centre pivots) and 13 wide-span devices with linear movement (Linears). These devices will cover a total irrigated area of 1,191 hectares.

OUR CONTRACT

We will participate in the project as the contractor for electroengineering and automation. We will take care of the following:

  • Supply, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment for the pumping station
  • Development of application software for PLC and operator panel
  • Equipment testing and alignment with irrigation technology
  • Supply, installation, and adjustment of measuring and control equipment, as well as additional compensation equipment
  • Operator training for the operation and management of the pumping station

We are delighted to announce the completion of another project, marking another milestone in our long-lasting collaboration with Xella Group. We take great pride in our continued partnership, which has stood the test of time and exemplifies our commitment to excellence in the construction industry.

PROJECT

In the Xella Vreoci factory was planned reconstruction of the existing Separation machine for the blocks. The reconstruction included the main motor, frequency drive and auxiliary mechanical and electrical equipment exchange. Also, the control software for the PLC and HMI panel was updated, according to those changes.
