Proposal Engineer
  • Location: Belgrade

Headquartered in Belgrade, ICCE d.o.o. has been a leader in industrial automation for over 35 years, specializing in the development and execution of complex automation projects for large industrial plants, systems, and machinery. Back in 1988, ICCE became the first manufacturer of PLCs in the former Yugoslavia. Since then, the company has continued to grow, expanding its portfolio of services and expertise. 

Today, we offer complete in-house design and production of low- and medium-voltage switchgear, e-houses, PLC and SCADA software development, on-site installation, commissioning, and operator training.

ICCE operates its own production facility and employs a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians, enabling us to deliver complete turnkey solutions under one roof. We take pride in our track record of over 500 successfully delivered projects in more than 40 countries worldwide.

We are currently looking for a proposal engineer with experience in collaborating with sales and commercial teams, capable of bridging the gap between technical execution and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal preparation: Prepare detailed and technically aligned proposals tailored to client-specific requirements.
  • Managing client requests: Independently handle and process client inquiries, ensuring all requests are properly documented and responded to promptly.
  • Deadline tracking: Proactively manage deadlines related to proposals and client requests to ensure timely delivery of all tasks.
  • Cost calculations and optimization: Perform advanced cost calculations and work on optimizing pricing to maintain competitiveness.
  • Supporting documentation: Create and revise all supporting documents related to offers and projects, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
  • BOQ preparation: Draft detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) with resource optimization for each project.
  • CRM usage: Maintain accurate client data and monitor performance through CRM tools to support process improvement.
  • Process improvement: Identify and implement innovations to improve the proposal and documentation process.
  • Cross-department collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, sales, and procurement teams to align technical and commercial aspects of proposals.
  • Client communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, including data exchange, negotiations, and occasional on-site visits.
  • Quality system compliance: Ensure that all activities follow the company's quality system documentation and standards.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in the industrial sector, with exposure to medium- and low-voltage systems, MCC equipment, frequency inverters, and/or automation systems;
  • Solid understanding of core electrical engineering principles;
  • Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD or EPLAN);
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and structure technical and financial data;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • Familiarity with relevant IEC standards;
  • English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level;

Stellenbeschreibung:

  • Koordination und Organisation der Büroabläufe zur Optimierung der Effizienz im Unternehmen. 
  • Ansprechpartner/-in für Lieferanten und Kunden, einschließlich der Bearbeitung von Anfragen, Erstellung und Versendung von Angeboten sowie Nachverfolgung von Bestellungen.
  • Vorbereitung und Bearbeitung von Buchhaltungs- und Finanzunterlagen, einschließlich Rechnungen und relevanten Berichten. 
  • Regelmäßige Kommunikation mit unserer Muttergesellschaft in Belgrad, insbesondere bzgl. Geschäftsberichten und der Koordination gemeinsamer Aktivitäten. 

Ihr Profil:

  • Deutschkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift) B2 
  • Gute Kenntnisse der serbokroatischen Sprache (in Wort und Schrift). 
  • Erfahrung in der Büroorganisation und Verwaltung. 
  • Ausgeprägte Fähigkeit zur Selbstorganisation und zum Multitasking. 
  • Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office-Anwendungen und allgemeinen Computerkenntnissen. 
  • Kommunikationsstärke, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und hohe Präzision in der Arbeitsweise.

Automation Engineer Trainee

Based in Belgrade, ICCE is a company that has been dealing with automation projects of large industrial complexes for more than 30 years. ICCE is recognized as a leader in the automation of sugar mills and bulk handling terminals. Due to the increasing workload, ICCE is constantly expanding its team and is currently looking for an Automation Engineer Trainee.

Responsibilities

  • PLC programming under the supervision of a mentor
  • Carrying out FAT tests under the supervision of a mentor
  • Carrying out other professional tasks in accordance with the reference documents of the quality system

Basic Criteria:

  • Graduated in electrical engineering, major: automation
  • No previous experience required
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Preferably knowledge of German or Russian language
  • Knowledge of the basics of PLC and SCADA programming
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office package
  • Desire for constant progress

ArcelorMittal - Modernization of Mill in Ghent

We are proud to announce that together with the company Bedeschi S.p.A. we will participate in the capital project of the revitalization of ArcelorMittal Mill in Ghent (Belgium). The revitalization includes the following machinery: 1x Bucket Wheel Stacker Reclaimer and 1x Stacker.

ArcelorMittal is the second-largest steel producer in the World. They are operating in 16 countries around the world, with 45.3 million tonnes of iron ore mined and 59 million tonnes of crude steel made in 2022.  

We will participate in the project as the subcontractor for electrical engineering and automation.
